THE CHALLENGE
An Advocus Partner annually hosts the American Chambers of the Asia Pacific (AAP) in Washington to drive outreach and policies to increase U.S. trade and investment in the Asia Pacific region. The annual gathering aims to drive outreach and policies for increasing U.S. trade and investment in the region.
THE SOLUTION
We orchestrated a four-day event in Washington, bringing together 40 delegates to engage with officials from crucial U.S. agencies such as the White House, U.S. Department of Treasury, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Department of State, and more. The discussions covered essential topics including regional export opportunities, the 2024 election’s impact, the intersection of global climate change and U.S. national security, and the ongoing IndoPacific Economic Framework (IPEF) negotiations.
THE RESULT
The event provided a platform for fruitful discussions and networking opportunities, enabling meaningful exchanges on vital issues related to U.S. trade and investment in the Asia Pacific region. By convening key stakeholders, the AAP meetings facilitated engagement and dialogue that contributed to shaping policies and strategies for enhancing U.S. engagement in the region.
